RECENT ATTACKS IN PILE VILLAGE- Really who gives a shit

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Lady O,

First of all Pile is not under the control of the ROC or TRNC .

keep it in your mind .

who ever has TRNC identification card can stay or work at Pile .

So you are saying there are an unknown number of illegal Mainland Turkish immigrants /settlers now living in Pyla ....

Does anyone know what they get up to? Are they accountable to anyone?

go to pile and do your own observation .
none of my business what they do . they can be married to TC's or worked in the village .

Control of the village is under the UN and Turkish Cypriot muhtar and Greek Cypriot muhtar .
They are all happy to live together even they don't mixed much and they don't do much business between eachother .
Only outsider like you puts their nose in it . They might be Turkish or Greek these trouble makers .
it is not the first time same attacks happening in this village .
Always they are attacking the TC's school and flag poles in the village . Up to now no one found .Hopefully this time they can find them .

Important is the village of the pile people are still together . They must not listen these provacators .

Vandalism is a crime and those responsible should be punished, but it's hardly the crime of the century. Just ring the insurance company and shut up. It's a couple of broken windows, not genocide.

sorry magnus .... it is not a couple of broken windows ........... but you are also right it is not the crime of the century ...... but TC's have adapted the victimhood identity and will take this for a ride.

You're right dude, I probably shouldn't have oversimplified it. So before I get accused of underestimating the extent of this wanton destruction for my own political gains, I'll state categorically that it was:

The windows of three shops and a vehicle were smashed.
A bust of Ataturk had paint tipped on it.

Maybe someone could give us a rough estimate of the cost to replace the windows and a bottle of paint stripper?

That s not the point I was trying to make Magnus. The fact that it was only TC property damaged it indicates hate crime based on ethnicity. That is dangerous if we do not curb it. As far as the Ataturk's statue ges well they can just replace it. Alah only knows the occupied Cyprus is full of the bloomin statues.

On the other hand it could be Turks themselves who done it to create ill atmosphere and sabotage the talks. Why because may be that is the gateway of drug traficking in Cyprus, not to mention illegal entry for illegal migrants.

if it's a GC they need to be found, taken to court and punished for their crime.

Unlike you VP I have no problem with punishing one of my so called mine because they are scum.
