Personally I don't approve of such one-sided, self-interested condemnations.

Take it elsewhere please. It says worse about the poster than anything else really, IMHO.

We already have an expert on the subject of property developers on this forum, I believe he is now camping out in the rain around St James's Square looking for sympathy.

IMHO well I'll be dogged.

Hello There, "Is that yourself ?"

It is foolish of a developer to make promises about the time it will take to have title deeds issued since this matter is dealt with by the land registry office and not the developer himself; however, it is naive of buyers to take such claims at face value.

I myself have been waiting three and a half years for title deeds, although the certificate of completion has now been issued by the municipality and I have high hopes of receiving them before the year is out. In my case, the developer does not finance future developments by mortgaging the completed ones, and he has provided all the necessary documentation. This being so, the delay is due to the volume of applications waiting at the land registry office, and I don't see how I can blame the developer for this.

If people did as I said and contacted their MEPs about all the dormant money awaiting/owing to the government and in doing so got EEC grants put on hold the government would soon pull their fingers out.
The owner of our rental last November bought her house 15years ago from Leptos and is still waiting for the title deeds; nothing to do with the government being over worked.
Another scam is the developer then trying to charge at todays values whilst paying the government the original fee.
We should also be naming and shaming the corrupt House agents like the one who lied left right and centre to us.
