Hang on a minute I am a British tourist and I like a drink or two however I am insulted by some of your comments I consider myself to be a gentleman and I always tip if I have received good service. I recently had a holiday in Paphos and can say honestly that I never saw any bad behaviour by any of my countrymen. I will say though that some of the younger generation do get a little out of order in the UK and indeed you have your problems people in Cyprus. Don't you read the Cyprus Mail? I have read many stories on Police stations being stormed by mobs etc.so lets not forget if I am not welcome in Cyprus I can have my pick of holiday destinations were I will be welcome.

Regards lucky Jim

Latest report, just received from "Jimmy Light" (the resident tramp of the area) who states and I quote in as near an interpretation of his speech as I can muster :-

"'Ere Guvna, the geezer mus' be a nutta, 'e nips orf darn the bleedin' road wiv 'is noozpaypa and goes darn the karsey wiv it, I fink one of 'em is in sum uva lingo coz 'e left a scrap on the bleedin' floor an' I used it to wipe my arris wiv it.
When it rained, 'e shot orf agin and slung me art of 'is tent coz 'e fought I was gonna nick 'is cash box, 'e flogs cups a tea an' fags, 'e rekons 'e's gonna start sellin '"'Ot Dogs" if 'e kin get sum ole Greek geezer to giv 'im the gear to set it all up, 'e carn't arf use 'is lingo, blimey, I fought I was bad, you should 'ear 'im mate!"

And having delivered his assessment of the situation, the poor old tramp shuffled off into the gloom of an uncaring city, collar tucked snugly around his ears against the drizzle which relentlessly pervades his domain.
"God Speed, Jimmy Light, there is more respectability in your little gnarled finger than in the whole body of he who can mouth such obscenities as our beleaguered friend !" (or so he would wish to be viewed) IMHO (well I'll be dogged !).

Lucky Jim, you are indeed lucky if you spent a holiday in Pafos and did not see any hooliganism, I like your interpretation of "A little out of Order" in the U.K.
According to most newspapers and news broadcasts, it is almost as bad as downtown Bedlam in most of the cities on Saturday night.
Pafos is fast becoming as bad as Ayia Napa, IMHO (well I'll be dogged !).

Many thanks Guvna !, I am always at my best after a few shots, I tried to entice nice Feisty twice but she has left me crestfallen I fear, I will try her again though I'm sure quite in vain, perhaps I'll make do with a beer !.

I'll leave out the dog bit as I know it gets up your nose.

Cyprus for me quickly started losing credibility when a crooked solicitor withdrew my contract from the land registry on a property when I had specifically instructed them not to, leaving the developer with £120,000 of my money. I had contracted to buy the property for £175,000. 2 weeks later the developer had back on the market for £300,000.
The developer still has my money.
I could think of many things to call the solicitor and his firm, which co-incidentally is the same one who Karayiannes was originally using.
Quite frankly, I couldn't give a sod if I lose credibilty on this forum which is frequented by a bunch of hoodlums who would appear to advocate the violence to which Conor has been subjected.

You want to moan about British youngsters getting out of hand when drunk but support Cypriot businessmen trying to kill a man. Seems there is a problem with Cypriot hoodlums to me.

So in a nutshell, you tried to capitalize on a property before it was yours, precisely the same scenario as our foul-mouthed friend.
Fortunately you did not resort to the use of obscenities in your quest for justice, hopefully you will be reimbursed.
As to your other comments, RUBBISH.

Now, how about that invitation ?.  .

You clearly have a problem reading Maynard.
How did I try to capitalise on it? The developer sold it for £300,000 not me. I'm £120k out of pocket at the moment and the developer has had my money for 4 years earning interest on it.
I wanted to live in it.
