RECENT ATTACKS IN PILE VILLAGE

Postby halil » Wed Aug 20, 2008 8:00 pm

Foreign Minister Turgay Avci has condemned the latest attacks against Turkish Cypriot properties in the mixed village of Pile.
The windows of three shops and a vehicle owned by 4 Turkish Cypriot inhabitants of Pile were smashed last night by unknown vandals.
The bust of Ataturk in the village’s Turkish Primary School was also desecrated with white chalk paint.

Issuing a written statement today, Foreign Minister Turgay Avci reminded that Turkish Cypriot villagers in Pile and their properties have been subject to frequent such attacks.
Avci said that the failure to punish those responsible for such attacks on the Greek Cypriot Side only served to further encourage fanatic Greek Cypriot organizations.

He called on the Greek Cypriot Administration to find and bring to justice those responsible for the attacks.
Foreign Minister Avci also said that the TRNC Foreign Ministry will continue its efforts, in collaboration with the UN Peacekeeping Force, to establish and implement measures that will ensure that such attacks are not repeated.

OK chief shit spreader, here you are again.

First of all, have you apprehended these culprits? Yes/No ? If yes, are the GC? If no how do you know they are GC?

secondly, seems the TMT are renoun for starting trouble to their own to blame the GC, the audacity! Turkish embassies spring to mind.

thirdly, when you bring your murders (minister) to justice for the illegal shooting of the GC flag pole climber and the beating to death of our other GC protester then you may have grounds to complain.

Until then you can shut the fuck up, jeez the cheek of these people. They invade out country, ethinically cleanse 200,000 GC from their homes, bring in illegal settlers and hold us at gun point and they have the cheek to compain about some shitty statue. FFS can you believe that????

[Edit: wasn't it from Pyla where you thieving bastards were stealing electricity from and then threatened to shoot dead anyone trying to stop you. Fucking cheek. You are just criminals and you want it all you own way, well you know what you can do. Arsehol]

Truth be told. I have been to one important moslem monument, the Teke and it is shocking to see that the graffit are almost all in Turkish.

Going to Pyla to pour chalk paint on Kemal sounds a little outlandish. If there was such tendency it would manifest itself elsewhere. It has not, no matter what Bananiot says.

Now if you want to see desecrations and vandalism take a trip to any of the hundreds of churches in the north and then we talk about it. It is ridiculous to turn ablinc eye to the industry of icon stealing and antiquities dealing there and moan about some chalk paint on one of the mass produced Kemal statues.

And since the subject borders on aesthetics, can the mass production of Kemal statues please stop. By now everyone knows what he looked like. The situation passed over into the realm of kitsch a long time ago. No need for futher reminders please!

Nikita,

save your breath, its ok for them to graffiti our mountain with chalk/paint/lights and they have the cheek to complain about some shitty statue. But This is acceptable to Bananiot as I don't hear any words of protest on that front from him.

perhaps the Barbarians also learnt Turkish as well!
