Do little shits ever care who's property they vandalised.? I do not think so. Even if it was targeted to damage TC's property, it does not make it a "hate crime". Let the police find the guilty and charge them accordingly and sentence them according to the law.

Let me bring this to the discussion. The way you guys are reacting to this incident, is as if the sky has fallen. So, tell me people, what's going to happen after a settlement is reached and one day a husband comes home early from work and finds a man from the other "side's" community fucking his wife and he blows him away. ? Will this bring war or what, because the way some of you are acting, there will be war, but if one blows away another man fucking his wife, but he happens to be from his own community, all will be well.!

What say you guys. Do you think there ever never going to be incidences between the two main communities, and if some of you think that, then you all need help, so stop making this story to be important, because it is not and it belongs on page 69.!!!

Words of sensibility in a crazy situation Kikapu

As I posted earlier worse things will happen in the area I live over the next 48 hours and it wont even make the front page news of my local paper

RichardB, that means you must live in Gaza

Conspiracy theories and Greeks go hand in hand. We were told once, and everyone believed it, that Jews were responsible for September 11. Even, some suggested, that Bush was behind it. No Nikitas, in this part of the world we had enough of this.

Funny enough Pantheman, if you talk to Jaheed you will find that he lives in the same galaxy as you, just like Denktash junior and Papadopoulos, if you get my drift.

Idiot!

TALAT CALLS FOR PILE INHABITANTS TO KEEP THEIR CALM

President Mehmet Ali Talat has called for Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots living in the mixed village of Pile to keep their calm.
Stating that Pile was the only remaining mixed village on the island where Turkish and Greek Cypriots lived together, he said that any negative incident to be experienced there will have a damaging effect on the negotiations process.

The President was speaking during an inspection tour of Pile yesterday following a series of vandal attacks against Turkish Cypriot properties in the village on Wednesday.
President Talat was accompanied by Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer, Foreign Minister Turgay Avci and Minister of Interior Ozkan Murat.
As part of the inspection tour, the President and his accompanying delegation first visited the village’s Turkish Cypriot Muhtar Necdet Ermetal.
Speaking there, the President called for Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots to keep their calm and not to be goaded into action.Don’t get pulled in by provocations and threats….let’s try and prevent this from happening” he said.

Pointing out that he and the Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias had launched a new process in Cyprus with the aim of ending the long standing Cyprus Dispute, the President asked everyone to support this process.

The President next visited the village’s Greek Cypriot Muhtar Hristakis Anatoniyu before moving on to the Greek Cypriot coffee shop where he chatted with Greek Cypriot villagers.

He then departed from the village.

The remaining delegation made up of Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer, Foreign Minister Turgay Avci and Interior Minister Ozkan Murat continued their inspection tour of the village.
Speaking at the village’s Turkish Cypriot coffee shop, Prime Minister Soyer expressed the hope that a mutually acceptable, lasting and just solution will be found to the Cyprus Problem.

There is a proverb in Turkish….a cup of coffee is remembered for 40 years……Let’s remember each other for 40 years” he told the Greek Cypriot village Muhtar Anatoniyu who joined them.

For his part, Foreign Minister Turgay Avci who reminded that a new process was beginning on the 3rd of September called the Greek Cypriot Administration to refrain from provocative actions and statements.

Highlighting the importance of the negotiations, Avci said the vandal attacks in Pile targeting Turkish Cypriots were totally unacceptable.
Touching upon recent statements made by Greek Cypriot officials, the Foreign Minister said that these were sending the wrong signals before peace talks.

At press conference both mukhtar said they have good relationship in their village however they have UN police forces in their village since March they did have very serious incidence in the village and these events are worrying them . still no one catch and this worries them .People of the Pile are worries and not happy whats happening in their village and they are underlining this.

They said This incident must be done from outsiders not from the people of the Pile .Such event should not be done in this place because they are village was showing good example of how two communities will live together .

They also said two muhktar will work together future of their village and they hope they can help improve the good relationship between two communities.

The only theories re 9/11 I have ever come across were made in USA.

Greeks still remember Salonica and that "bomb" in Attaturk's house. GCs remember that bomb at the Turkish information office in 1957 or 58. There is evidence here Bananiot, and that evidence justifies caution.

Still asking, why Pyla, why now and who gained from the incident?
