Guns stolen from reservists’ homes

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

leave the arsenal to the army not the people, you and me.

You don't get it, do you? We are the army. We don't have the luxury to import 40.000 troops from abroad to do the job for us. Therefore we have to do it ourselves. Of course you would prefer if nobody did this job so we would be completely undefended, but sorry, we will not do you this favor.

I can try to understand your mentality and fears in relation to the Turkish Army andtheir actions during 1974, plus 40.000 soldiers here on the island or 1.000.000 soldiers in mainland Turkey only 40 miles away, but your guns at home policy is nothing more than a brain washing exercise aimed at fuelling TCs hate in you and your young, but obviously you are not mature enough to see this fact.
I now have 2 guns kept in my home and I have explained to my children that these guns are only for use against GCs if there is a war.

its ok for 40.000 GCs reservists and their families its good enough for me, we have to be prepared just in case of war.

OK, has any precaution been taken by the authorities where you live to ensure that if it's used for criminal purposes, the perpetrator can be traced back through ballistic examination?
Is there any control over the bullets by anyone, or can you, or your son, theoretically shoot some of them and no one will ever know, much less punish you for it?
Did you choose to get it?
Are you going to face criminal prosecution and certain conviction if you fire it even in a way that threatens or harms no one (like, shooting in the air)?
Do you have any reason to not want it fired under any circumstances, without a valid reason, even if it's fired by accident?

I think I know your answers to all these questions (but please be kind enough to answer them). I also think that you don't know, nor accept, that the average GC's answers to them are the complete opposite of yours, for EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM.

Saint Jimmy the guns are registered and have serial numbers, the bullets have been documented.

The bullets are controlled by me and kept away from the gun, we can bring them together in case of war.

I choose to get the guns to protect my family after I heard on this forum that GCs have guns in their homes to be used against us in times of war. given to them by your government.

Dont worry saint Im only going to use them should there be war just like yourselves, why are you so concerned it common practice in the south. Most families have them, and they can even be stolen which is why this thread was started.

Dont I have the same right as you to keep a gun in my home to use against you dont worry as you guys always say it will only be used in times of war. But if a burgler takes it and goes on a rampage read the comments from GCs before this thread I think your will get the general gist of what I am saying.

If you GCs have not worked out the meaning of what I am saying by now then think harder you may understand yet.
