Well if you will continue to confuse love with being needy that is your problem.

Such a needy person that would say "I am nothing without you" ... is also the type who would not value liberty above security.

They may cling to someone because they feel secure, since they would feel they are nothing without them.

So they would abandon their liberty by tying themselves to this person they "need" to make them feel whole.

Hence needy and not "lovely" at all ....

BTW .... since you say you are Mexican, then your English is good, and top-marks to you for delving into Greek also.
