There was a famous court case here many years ago involving an MP and some National Guardsmen who had gone to the MP's home to "service" him.

A soldier freely admitted to giving the MP one, but when asked if the MP had reciprocated he basically said "Of course not, do you think I am queer or something?".

I think you will find this is not an uncommon attitude.

can you talk about homosexuality in Cyprus. I believe homosexuals do not exist in the Island of Venus?

At my village coffee mornings, it did get broached but you could see they felt that to be viewed as "normal" they had to be slightly disparaging ... for me that is regression .... as I find the concept of homosexuality as normal as heterosexuality ... but then I am a Biologist.

As for homosexuals in Cyprus, you need to use the local definition for males:

"receivers" are gay
"givers" are more macho than heterosexual males

I've discussed something on this theme when discussing anal sex with friends.
My contention is that if it is pleasurable for women (and I don't know before you ask but have spoken to enough women who do enjoy it to believe it's possible) then there is no reason that it should not be equally pleasurable for men so therefore I concluded in my mind that everyone has the capacity to be 'gay' if that is what makes someone gay.

Oh thank you Danitro ... I am female but I had not realised "Oracle" might be perceived as a masculine name ... not that it matters.

But the Oracle was a woman who worshipped Apollo and could have visions of events into the future.

I like the Greek myths .... that was the only reason for choosing the name .... and I adore the idea of Apollo, so handsome and wise and benevolent (kind) ....
