laptop problem

my sony vaio it wont boot now .If I take the battery out it boot fine .I bought a new battery but still i have the same problem .Any expert help please

how old is your vaio? mine is only a year old and performs like shit when it gets hot. had the last vaio about 4 years no probs but this new one is not as good.

sounds like the dc/dc controller is faulty. Best try a dealer. If the bios has a battery calibration option you could try that. Boot from mains then once up reinstall the battery.
