Early September climate in Southern Cyprus.

Postby ourhenery » Tue Aug 12, 2008 1:39 pm

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a nice day chilling out with a cold beer.
T minus 18 days and counting till our departure. I was wondering what the temperatures are like early September?? I presume it wil still be very warm????
But should I leave the cardigan and hot water bottle at home and concentrate on the skimpies? Be nice to know anyhoo.
Thanks alot,
OURHENERY. 8)

September is a nice month for visiting. It will still be hot but generally without the intense stickiness caused by high humidity levels.
I think you will do just fine with the skimpies!

You may need a cardigan or light jacket if you are hoping to go to altitude in the Troodos, or dine near the sea-front in the evening.

Oh yes, that is a good point. I once went up to Troodos in mid summer in a short-sleeved shirt and spent the day feeling cold.
