Has had a recurring problem for at least the past eight months!
SIX times the van has been towed back to Renault = FIVE times they tell us it’s fixed!!!
Again this morning it broke down…
And of course Renault is CLOSED for the two week annual holiday.
We had it towed to Frank at the 4 x 4 Centre, who immediately condemned the van as a fire hazard.
As you can see in the picture, Renault’s idea of a ‘fix’ was to by-pass the fuse relays by way of a small piece of copper wire. Which of course just burn’s out every few weeks.
The red clamp was used by Frank to test out the BODGE JOB!!!
Maybe we should have bought elsewhere???
As you can imagine, I am now emailing Renault Europe…
