I completely agree ... I think the Turks get their ideas from this Forum  .... I have seen many quotes now directly related to discussions on here, and after we have brought them up and pulled the connections together!

GR! will solve the Cyprus Problem yet!

Opinions and views such as the ones you so admire will bring nothing but destruction , just as the one we are now witnessing in Georgia , to our Cyprus.
The bullshitters have had their day , may they rest in peace and may they live to fuck someone elses country up !!

These are supposed to be anti-ballistic missile rather than anti-aircraft which are being purchased with the primary aim to defend turkey from an attack from Irans ballistic missile arsenal, in the unlikely prospect that turkey purchases the s-400 missiles they will also be able to be used against aircrafts. There is no showing off here, its a public tender and the best bidder will get the contract although they will probably go for an american product such as PAC-3.

For surface to surface Turkey has had 'J' long-range missiles for at least a decade now which it produced itself after it bought the technology from china and only publicly revealed them a few years ago although their presence was suspected for quite a while in the defense community worldwide. Not much is known about them other than they have at least a 100km range and turkey is working on increasing that, and can for now deliver a 50kg payload with an intertial navigation system although that payload is now probably greater.

Miltiades, hi. I received your post above in relation to GR. I can appreciate that the two of you had some difering opinions and I believe that things got hotted up at some stage. However, GR has been nothing but respectful of me and supportive of my ideas and views regardless of what he belived. A year ago when I was in Cyprus he was the only forum that made more than one effort to meet up with me (we didn't because I was busy with family).

I also respect his views and ideas about the Cypro and other topics. He was funny and I belive willing to make change for Cyprus as he met with more tham one Turk from the forum.

Thanks Andreas

I have nothing against GR , but I do consider his views to be utterly contemptible as he is without a doubt a war monger. I believe that negotiations are far more in order , given the current situation , than his projected perspectives of waging a war against a nation - and achieving a result - that is roughly 150 times larger than us !!
Further more the man was rather arrogant and full of shit !!"

Do you comprehend that GR!'s country is currently under occupation?

Do you also realize that he is entitled to attempt to regain it back ... but that does not in fact make him a warmonger! ...

... it does though make you a pillock! :P
