Fact Number 1
Turkey is not invading Northern Cyprus
Turkey's military intervention in 1974 is not an attempt to gain more territory or invasion.
If Turkey didn't act in 1974, the island would be united with Greece as result of a coup and there wouldn't left a single Turkish Cypriot alive in the hands of Greeks.
Greek Cypriots, with Greece's support, butchered and massacred Turkish Cypriots starting from 1912. Greek Cypriots founded a terrorist organization called EOKA, to realize their dreams of ENOSIS (union with Greece).
Greece and Greek Cypriots still believe that Cyprus is part of Hellenism. Of course, as ancient Greece is considered as basis for western civilization, virtually all western countries support them.
Turkey used its international treaty rights to protect Turkish Cypriots from genocide in Cyprus.
Greek Cypriots still continue to obtain weapons from Russia and Greece.
Greeks on both sides are also supporting PKK terrorist and killer organization (which continues to kill even today) by providing money, passports and training camps.
Fact Number 2
Greek Cypriots do not want Turkish Cypriots on the island and do not want to live with them
Their policies of last hundred years clearly shows that. Since 1974, they are also blocking every attempt of solution and reunification. With the help of Greek lobby in U.S. they even managed to mislead the public and present it as Turkish side's wrongfulness.
The referendum on the Annan Plan in 24 April 2004 showed these facts clearly to the whole world. (Following that, on 1 May 2004 EU accepted Greek Cypriot controlled state as member)

Fact Number 3
European Union membership of Greek Cypriots is not just and fair
EU accepted Greek Cypriots as member, despite their massacres and disrespect for the Turkish Cypriot minority, and their unwillingness to solve the Cyprus problem in a humanitarian and civilized manner.
It can be deducted from the EU policies that, by accepting the Greek Cypriots before any real solution, EU clearly approves and endorses Greek Cypriots' actions.
EU also continues to support the economic and political isolation of Turkish Cypriots, despite their past horrific experiences and their recent political will shown in 2004 referendum to reunite the island.
Fact Number 4
Turkish Cypriots have the right of self determination
Greek Cypriot government does not represent Turkish Cypriots. The proclamation of "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" (by Turkish Cypriots) is the use of the self-determination right in accordance with the Helsinki Final Act and other international state laws.
EU and UN Security Council are wrongful both legally and politically by not recognizing "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus".
Fact Number 5
Turkey will never leave Turkish Cypriots
Threatening Turkey with EU, vetoes, etc by Greek Cypriots, Greece, U.S., Russia or EU won't simply work.
These threats won't make Turkey leave its Turkish brothers in the hands of Greek Cypriots.
Even if, in the future, any Turkish government attempts to give in, you can rest assured that Turkish public and Turkish army won't allow that.
I know that all parties have things to do to resolve this issue. My personal hope is that PEACE and RIGHTEOUSNESS prevails on the island of Cyprus for Turks and Greeks alike.
