You seem unable to even understand the rubbish you write yourself most times. Spend a little time re-reading your posts, as boring as they may be, and try not to keep lying to us!

VET? NO, Customs official YES. He/she carries out the microchip inspection etc and he/she will also want paying. Depending on the time of day (overtime?) and the number of stripes the official has, the higher the cost!

FYI my friend is NOT the customs official! Where did I say that paying the officials was a rip off? I just stated that you have to pay the official. Why do you distort everything just to suit yourself?

In order to end this fiasco ... kindly look at my first post again ...

Please go to the link I supplied in my first post ...As I said I did not pay any inspection fee ...

Bubbles chose to contradict me and suggest I was lying that I did not pay a fee.

There you will have confirmed that inspection fees are not due from pets arising within the EU ... which is what I was describing when Bubbles piped in with her gossip and assumptions and insinuations....

I supplied the link so that those coming from other countries can work out what they had to pay as I was describing from my own situation, with the link to be used for wider applications.

But Bubbles decided one had to pay according to the number of stripes the Official has ... even though she now is trying to get out of having lied and was not speaking from experience but from something her friend said.

Consequently she has not been able to come up with a figure to back up her statement that you have to pay fees according to the number of stripes the official has ... because I did not have to pay any inspection fees at all

In order to get herself out of this mess, she is pretending to not understand that I am asking her how much one pays per stripe on the Official (which is what she said and I re-quoted her endlessly ).... just one look over the sad posts will see her deliberate attempts to avoid answering this one specific question!
