Cypriot language quick question

Postby sal » Thu Aug 07, 2008 4:11 pm

Quick language question!!

What's cypriot for aubergine?
Not melitzana (which is the Greek word) there's a Cypriot word for it and I can't for the life of me remember it.

Thank you to anyone who can stop me going mad trying to think of this word!!!

There is no such thing as a Cypriot language.
Its either Greek (which is more common) or Turkish.
