I ought to say Halil that my donations are those raised in my showroom so strictly speaking , unlike Zans' it is not my own money but that of the donors . I thank Zan on behalf of all cancer sufferers for his care and also that of his sister .
Cancer is ABOVE politics only when it has touched you or a loved one do you feel the pain and suffering that the sufferers go through .
For me the last 6 and half years have been a real test , a test of love for someone that has shared my life for over almost 45 years , we both were 16 when faith brought us together , raised two children and were blessed with two grandchildren , now we are both on the front line fighting this brutal enemy of the human race , the only difference only the one most vulnerable will suffer , and suffer she does as I watch helplessly . We are both committed to raising what ever we can for cancer sufferers , not for research I may add but for the people that have to daily struggle against this decease .
Cancer Tulip in Cyprus is doing a magnificent job in helping the sufferers , all staff are volunteers , people with kind humane hearts who give up their spare time in order to help those that really need help. Every time I visited Cancer Tulip , I have been welcomed as a human being , a Cypriot not a G/C or T/C but a human Cypriot .
They need our help , not just today but every day , Im commited to raising money for them , regardless of how little or how much for the rest of my life.
