Stop mixing apples and bananas..You are both trying to ignore the fact that Republic Of Cyprus has TWO official languages..Greek & Turkish...full stop.
If the whole of Republic Of Cyprus is accepted into EU but acquis communautaire is suspended for the time being in the north...Then,after a solution Turkish WILL automatically be an official EU language....you have to learn to live with this fact..
Iceman, I do not know what apples and bananas I have mixed. I only asked Zan why he wants or expects that Turkish should be an EU language! I know the RoC has two official languages, but as far as I know, Zan does not recognise the RoC! Neither "TRNC" -which Zan recognises- is an EU member state, nor any other Turkish speaking country does! Why then does he want Turkish to be an EU language? On what basis?
