Later, it came to our attention that those funds Ignatiou referred to were part of the United Nations aid to Cyprus NGO's and that Papadopoulos's wife Photini got the lion's share! Furthermore, the "deal" was done in 1997, much before the dreaded plan was concieved.

Immediately after the "revelation" Perdikis of the Greens and Karoyian of DIKO jumped on the wagon explaining that they had no doubt that big money was pocketed by the yes platform.

Personally i gor 2million USDollars, however i still voted NO.

Obviously, our rejectionists are losing sleep over the prospects of a solution. I read that Denktash is not doing much better on the other side. They have so much in common.

 No, not really. I do not insult people unless they give me a really (and I mean really) good reason to get mad. Someone had to be amazingly inefficient and incompetent to earn some verbal abuse from me. So far I haven't ran across any individual capable of being that useless. ;)

Alexiss,

Do you listen to SKAI radio the Ellinohrenia spot between 1 and 2 pm. Do you recall how many mebers of the audience request to hear the dumb Cypriot guy who wants to enter the competition? For those that do not know, the broadcast uses clips of actual phone calls as comedy.

By the way, he is definitely NOT a Cypriot. He is someone impersonating a Cypriot which makes it twice as distasteful.

Are there many Cretans in public life who still use their accented Greek? No! Why not? Ever ponder that question in your mind?

With all due respect DT, Paphitis, Piratis, Oracle and Pantheman, you are unbeleivable hypocrites. You are all crying your hearts out because I did not mention that Photini got the UN money as President of an organisation but ALL of you subscribed to the unfounded claim that people were paid in order to get a "yes" result. Yet you can easily find out where all the money was spent by visiting the UN web site. If you do this you can perhaps find out that only 200 000 dollars were spent on the Annan Plan and this was money spent to get translation of the Plan into Turkish and Greek and then publish the translations in the daily newspapers across the divide. Fittingly, most of the money went to "Phileleftheros" the paper that came out with the crap revelation last week.

Piratis has also become a liar pretending that he has heard nothing about the 50 thousand bananas Papadopoulos pocketed from an obscure Ukraine-British company. In any civilised society even accepting a pen as a gift would cause a stir. However, none of our super patriots seem to mind and this makes them totally unfit to talk about democracy.

My problem is that it looked like you deliberately set out to deceive Bananiot.

That was a cheap trick by any-one's standards.

Unlike you, during school holiday times, I have less free time, not more, to do searches.

But despite my shortcomings, it is the fact that you were propagating half-truths (which in my opinion are as good as lies) to people that would never bother to verify what you said, but take it as fact.

Admit it Bananiot, that is what propagandists rely on!

Nikitas,
This post of yours fits perfectly in the category of Cypriot behavior I described before. Aren't Macedonians occasionally laughed at because of their accent? What about Thessalians, Peloponnesians or Eptanesians? Aren't mainland Greeks laughed at in Cyprus? So what, some people are idiots and that will never change. If others don't mind, why do you? Are Cypriot students in Greece so heavily abused that they are forced to only socialize with their own?

No, re malaka, thats not why we were crying our hearts out, it is because you insinuated that Photini pocketed the money. You deliberately set out to deceive and slandered the woman, which you should apologise publically for.

You are just another shit spreader like you mate halil, do us all a favour Bananiot, kopse ton lemo sou and save one of us doing it for you.

Bananiot, just tell us why you are so bitter with us, that you are willing to shaft us over the Turks. I would really like to know.

Well, even idiots know that UN funds only go to Organisations. And, I do not need to deceive you. You manage quite well to deceive yourself all the time. Pantheman, I have never felt at home with fascists of your kind.
