For this once I will accept the Gaelic Wogan, but Michael Caine is way above Wogan.

O. dearest, that was not calling you a peasant. If you look at the context, you will see that it is synonymous with, rustic, rural living. We were discussing the the 'Good Loife'. Remember?

No the Good life was with someone else (they didn't swim in the sea in the Good Life  ). With you I was describing my Cypriot lifestyle ... a different thread.

Now Deniz, I really am bored with the way you turn everything round to me (especially since you misquote so much) to fulfill your obsession.

Stick to topics and cease personalizing everything!

Best way is to go .....

...... Cold Turkey

Why do you accuse me of being so English? Are you under the impression they hate the Turks too?

Or is it that you hate both the English and Oracle, so they must be synonymous?

Lovely strawberries for tea earlier. Toasted Muffins for breakfast tomorrow (with Highland Heather Honey  )

YOU make my mouth water. I bet you are enjoying the cool damp weather of yours, while the Cypriots are frying in the sun.

You do know more about England than you do Cyprus. If they had the Nationality test in Cyprus, you would fail dismally, whereas the English one would be no problem

Funny ..... it was only last week you were all accusing me of being a peasant ...

Or are you just being Turkish with the truth?

Are you deliberately trying to fail the Nationality test? I dont dig your grammar.

If you called me a peasant I would be preoud of it. Perhaps you will point out to me where I called you a peasant. I dont easily give away honours like that.

Gawd you have such a poor memory. You really must try our Olive Oil. 8)

That's OK Deniz I don't take it as an insult ... I am always the first to label myself a peasant, it is most pleasant to me  (but not I may add t'others  ).

Naughtyned, I think you missed this on the previous page:

Filitsa wrote:Donovan's actually Scottish, born in Glasgow, but moved to Hertfordshire when he was 10. Because the English countryside influenced much of his earlier music, one might argue that at least his music, if not he himself, is a product of England.

I've just got to add these as I did them today and they are typical "England" experiences which I want to savour and not forget ...

Smelling Honeysuckle (mmm 8) ) ... and picking blackberries from a hedgerow (bit sour, but for the odd ripe one) :D
