Cricketing etiquette has very much evolved around the British Empire. Hockey likewise was taken to India.

Rugby is quintessentially English and somehow seems closer to the ethos of Englishness but I can't quite put my finger on why that should be. :?

:oops: Yes, they are, and so am I. Thus, my point of reference. I forgot to delete them after coming up with their English counterparts. It's a memory strategy I use ... learning style accomodation ... you don't want to know ...
