3-0 is a very good score for Anorthosis!! There is a good chance that we will have the first Cyprus team in the groups of Champions League!! I want to see what the newspapers in Greece will write tomorrow

Lets see. They will have to play better than what they did with Austria Vienna in Austria. But if they manage to score a goal in Athens first like they did in Austria I think it will be over because Olympiakos will need to score 5.

Cyprus champions Anorthosis Famagusta had defeated the Greek rivals Olympiacos in a record result for both the refugee club and the Cypriot footballing history. Some 10,000 spectators had cheered on the dominant Cypriot side at the Antonis Papadopoulos stadium.

Anorthosis are on the threshold of turning the dream into a reality, the club is on the verge of becoming the first Cypriot club to qualify for the Champions League. (LGR.CO.UK).

Happy to see my old team ANORTHOSIS doing well . The last time I saw them play was around 1957-58, playing against SALAMINA .!!!

A fantastic game from the fishermen! Was watching it in a pub full of apoellistes and we caught ourselves cheering like little kids when the goals went in!

if you want to track the pain these poor Olympiakos fans went through last night this forum is hilarious!

As a neighbor of the Anorthosis club of Famagusta, (my house was in the same block) and former drum player in the Anorthosis band, therefore as a totally impartial observer, I can only say that the result was a foregone conclusion.
