my my, what a disturbing piece of news from the world's most self righteous nation.
Kudos to Amnesty International who are fighting such crimes against humanity. However, just the death penalty for mainly the underprivileged who can not afford an adequate defence attorney? Why not throw George Bush in jail and then hang him from the neck until dead? Are these humans any less of God's creations than George Bush? How many has he murdered, butchered and plundered? and to think--all this time, i had the funny idea that being Christian was to abide by, "THOU SHALL NOT KILL".

I presume if George Bush had 'shoooooed' a dog from his parents grave, them he would definitely be on the death row. :)

Anthony Wedgewood Benn (retired labour MP) said on BBC hardtalk that Bush and Blair should be brought forward to face a war crimes tribuneral. But that won't happen, not ever. The UK and USA are too strong to ever be held accountable. As for meddling in other countries affairs - maybe this acts as a smoke screen so that the average USA/UK citizen doesn't peer too closely at whats "cooking" in their own kitchen. (In my opinion).

Tess, unfortunately the victor's of any war are never put on trial for war crimes. We have seen this time and time again.

Even in Cyprus, the Turkish Army's war criminals have never been put on trial. Even the "trnc" "agriculture mininister" has never stood trial for his crime of cold blooded murder of an unarmed GC who was climbing a flag pole. :?

Has any attempt been made to extradite this murderer? I know the north is not recognised, but has the UN or some other body ever tried?

There are numerous warrants for his arrest by RoC police and Interpol.

Probably he travels the world with a RoC passport. One day all these murderers will get their comeuppance. Amen.

I am not sure that this is possible. Surely, since Interpol have warrants for his arrest, then the minute he sets foot in any country apart from Turkey, he would be arrested!! This would confine his movements to only Turkey and "trnc".

Any news on Bin Laden and his sick "organization" who indiscriminately murdered in cold blood innocent air travellers and thousands of office workers.
Good old Bush , he took the right action and let us hope the next president carries on the fight against terrorism , starting with Iran !!

You are a bloody idiot!

Let me tell you 1 thing pal. I think that the Americans, Australians and Brits have generally had enough with the war on Iraq. I mean, if you can not see that it was the world's biggest disaster and mistake since WW11, then you are a lost cause. The US and UK economies have crumbled, and by default the Australian economy will follow suit and would have a long time ago if it were not for the resources boom. This mistake is going to leave 2-3 generations paying for all the destruction of Iraqi infrastructure. And every time you refuel at the bowser, be sure to thank George Bush for ridiculous petrol prices.

You also want the US to attack Iran. Are you serious? A war of this magnitude will not be 1 sided. Iran has a very adequate and capable defence, and any such action against it will turn the whole area into a bloodbath, even more so than Iraq. If it were so easy to attack Iran, let me say that it would have happenned by now. It has not happenned because Iran would very likly vapourise Tel Aviv in retaliation, and if you do not beieve this, please do your research and see that they have the ability to deliver warheads even to Cyprus. You are a pathetic idiot.

You do not support Cyprus defending it's territory or support the notion that Cyprus does have the right to liberate it's very own territory by any means, and yet you wish to burden America, Australia and Britain with the burden of more wars, which will no doubt bring the world's economy to it's knees. You are also a hypocrite.

If any such thing ever happens in the future, I believe that Australia will opt out. We can not afford to rebuild 2 countries at the same time. Better make that 3 countries, as Isreal will also be reduced to rubble!! And maybe even the British SBAs in Cyprus!! Do you ever think before writing your trash!
