The Republic's Presidential Visit to Occupied Kyrenia

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The Republic's Presidential Visit to Occupied Kyrenia

Postby Andros » Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:44 pm

Well,

I believe we've seen it all now. The President of the Republic of Cyprus is due to Visit an area of Cyprus deemed to be under Turkish Occupuation! Or is our President telling us something else?

- Is he warming us up to a permenant divide of two recognised Cypriot States?

- Is he extending diplomatic ties? As I know he will not be referring to TC leader Talat as the leader of the TC community!

- Or, has the Turkish Military in the North/ and Turkey itself, recognised the ROC?

Is Andros really a Turk making a bad attempt to impersonate a Greek Cypriot who draws the same line as the Turkish ideal for Cyprus?

Is Soyer wasting his energy for something that will never happen?

Our President has every right to visit any and all parts of his country.

It is his right as a citizen of the RoC and he should also have Presidential jurisdiction over the whole of Cyprus, so perhaps Turkey is finally recognising this fact and bowing to reason.

(BTW ...... I also do not think Andros should keep up the pretence of being GC any longer  )
