The Republic's Presidential Visit to Occupied Kyrenia

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Shame on the couple who married there

... what a terrible foundation for the start of a marriage than to celebrate on stolen property .....

Oh hang on, they don't care, because they are expansionist Turks!

Save your breath O. Somehow I dont think you exist as far as they are concerned. Wish the happy couple goodluck. They are your fellow countrymen/countrypersons.

So is George Paraskevaides. A philanthropist who has given millions to charities. His Paraksevaidion Transplant centre has transplanted kidneys to hundreds of Turkish Cypriots. Yet they drink and dance on his property for a wedding and expect us to wish them well.

A giant of a man who single handedly saved Cyprus from bankruptcy after the invasion. His financal controller brought over a cheque in 74 to provide some salvation for the people in Cyprus in their time of need. He never stopped giving to both GC's and Tc's who needed his charty till his death last year

Bad start to this marriage I say. Shame on the couple and a bigger shame on this so-called Cypriot of her father.

DT are you suggesting that the Turkish Cypriots of the north should be dwelling only in Turkish Cypriot houses built on Turkish Cypriot land? May be you can also suggest that the Turkish army moves out of barracks that have been built on Greek Cypriot land.

Perhaps, if they do not comply we should cease all contacts and negotiations with them, at least temporaly until 2010, when Ertogruroglu comes to power when there would be no hope for solution.

P.S. Pity Erdogan survived, have you seen the tears of the rejectionists (on both sides of the divide)?

Seems lıke lıfe for the most ın Cyprus ıs Ikea ın the South and perfectly good copy brand names ın the North. It was good to hear many GC accents whılst shoppıng near Ledra street. Costas looked great ın those combat pants and I told hım so.

All land in Cyprus is ultimately under the final custodianship of the RoC .... we are only here transiently, and hopefully the invaders even more so.

In the event that the peace talks are successful, you will see that the occupation of the north 'was' transient'. At least I hope so, or at least there will be compensation, like there will be in the south with TC properties.
