How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What do you have to do to be a True Cypriot?? :?

Is it just a simple matter(for some) to suck up to the enemy and lose all self respect and dignity or is it just a case of donating to a "trnc" cancer charity as if there are no cancer charities in the RoC, and then advertise the fact to project a Mother Teresa persona?? :?

You are a silly old bugger, aren't you Paphitis? Here we have the official government dishing out millions oh euros to the Turkish Cypriot community through benefits etc and here is you moaning and groaning because miltiades made a small donation to a cancer charity. You cannot get more sick than this.

so people, is Talat ready to move away from Turkey as Christofias is from Greece? Will we be able to solve it? One person one vote with rotating presidency of a president from the same party, in essence I mean that all parties are joint partiesa for example one socialist party encompasing GC's & TC's

Andrea!

Good point! IS the TC community ready to assert itself, stand on its own feet like the GCs have done? Even the few TCs left can do it, but I am not too sure if they want to.

Bananiot,

Papadopoulos did not go to Ashia, or any other place in the north because that is his style- stiff, unbending, the captain that would go down with this ship type. Christofias has a different style, but that does not mean he does not caclulate the political efect of his moves and statements. You apparently do not know politicians and what makes them tick.

As usual , and in top form , Paphitis springs to the defence of nonsensical crap.
Cancer fund raising is beyond politics so I shall not comment , but suffice to say that when a G/C embezzled funds destined for the T/C Cancer Centre , this G/C came forward and made good their loss , also restoring the honour of the honourable G/Cs by continuing the fund raising activities. You know SWEET F..A
about other fund raising activities so shut it mate .
Your views are utterly discredited so why not give us a break other than the one that we are currently receiving which is full of air

That's the best post I have seen you make. Well done Bananiot.

We have finally achieved convergence.

You are off course absolutely right. Here I was complaining about a silly donation when in actual fact our government should also cut off all these benefits to the TC community for betraying Cyprus. The only TCs that should receive these benefits are those that permanently reside in RoC.

Thanks for pointing that out Bananiot.

I think Miltiades will not be too pleased with you know!!!!

Contrary to the YES platform that was in full show at talat's daughters wedding the President and all other members of AKEL decided not to go because the hotel that the wedding was held at is a Greek Cypriot owned hotel.

Well done to the President and shame on Anastasiades and the rest of his sellout fanatics that took part. Wonder what the GC owner of that hotel was feeling watching them enjoy themselves on his property.

From now on, Anastasiades is on the black list. How dare he attend a party at a GC owned hotel in occupied Cyprus, without asking the rightful owner's permission first! I hope the Cypriot voters remember this at the next elections. I was indeed quite warm to Anastiasiades during the last election, due mainly to his pro Europe stance, but I am much more wiser to his sellout policies now.

Christofias should be congratulated for respecting the feelings of the GC hotel owner. The more that time passes by, the more I am warming to Christofias and his government. I thought I would never be saying that.
