Cyprus court clears soldiers of brawl

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Pure unadulterated nonsense boy , you have a lot to learn .
There is more Cypriot in my little finger than there is in your entire Australian born body.

Do you really think so? How do you figure that you are more Cypriot than I?

I love my country and I don't want it to be destroyed by the fanatics for the second time

I love Cyprus as well. And why am I a fanatic? Because I support a total embargo on the "trnc". Does that make me an extremist? :?

this time I say to hell with the extremists we shall stand and fight our corner which has the RoC the UN and most importantly Mother Europe on our side . Your corner has the discredited extremists with big mouths and no trousers making their usual destructive contributions.
You Mr Plonker called me a traitor , you little squirm how dare you .

As always Miltiades, you arguments are high on symbolism but lack substance. Who do you think you are? Sir Winston Churchill who said the following:

" ...We shall not flag nor fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France and on the seas and oceans; we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air. We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be; we shall fight on beaches, landing grounds, in fields, in streets and on the hills. We shall never surrender and even if, which I do not for the moment believe, this island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, will carry on the struggle until in God's good time the New World with all its power and might, sets forth to the liberation and rescue of the Old."

At least when Churchill makes such symbolic speeches, people listened which is more than I can say for you "Pappou Krasi". Me thinks that you have had way too much Krasi already and it is still morning in UK. :?

As for O enjoying more support amongst G/Cs than I , let us see who supports her !! All the extremists whose only agenda is the destruction of this island not the wise and the diplomats amongst us , including of course the entire government of the RoC. Can you tell us of ONE ONLY government minister that shares your views ??? I doubt it

Now, I do not wish to brag here, but let me just say that I am informed of many developments in Cyprus, at my very hearts content, from very high authority. I will not mention any names here. 8) So yes, I know what the Cyprus Government is trying to achieve and your ideals just do not have any where near the vision or insight as what they have!! You are just an "ASS LICKING" old man!

Stay in Australia mate , you are more useful to the preservation of the Australian Kangaroo than the preservation of the future generations of Cypriots , amongst them my grandchildren for whose future in a peaceful and united Cyprus I shall do all that I can to promote.
"Strike deep into Turkey " !!!! remember this shit , no shut up and grow up.

Very soon, our opportunity to strike deep into the "trnc" to liberate our lands is fast approaching. Turkey is in severe crisis. Our window of opportunity will soon dawn after the collapse of the current peace talks, when Europe will no longer accept the humiliation of Turkey occupying it's very own territory and gather a coalition force to liberate Cyprus!! The prerequisites are only now starting to fall in place.

From what I can see, Miltiades would rather call even a Turk a "true Cypriot" if he utters just one comment along the lines of "we want a solution to the Cyprus Problem", than he would a Greek Cypriot, like Paphitis, whose parents were born and lived in Cyprus and suffered because of the foreign "interventions" in our country and chose to bring their families up in a different environment.

It does not make their children any less Cypriot Miltiades, and it is certainly not a view held by the RoC!

Because you go around trying to make these second and even third generation Cypriots, even if of mixed birth, feel they do not belong in Cyprus, or should have no say in the Cyprus problem, then you are destructive to Cyprus in a most suicidal capacity.

You are attempting to cut off people from their birthrights and consequently allow Cyprus to die without the necessary input from its original natives.

Miltiades the RoC is trying to maintain an interest amongst the Diaspora for Cyprus ... so what gives you the right to try and insult the next generation, that you and I depend on, to continue towards a solution for Cyprus.

Please stop trying to turn away young Cypriots from the struggle.

You are a bad, old man that should watch his tongue.

I am not at all pleased to see two intelligent men, Cypriots at that, trying to get one over the other. Why not let the leaders try to solve this damn Cyproblem with the likes of you and us giving them our full support.

I can not understand the instilling of hatred towards the TCs (sometimes when you refer to the Turks, I take it you mean the TCs.). What has happened has happened. Both our communities have been victims of 'extremists'. Why does this continuation of poisoning of minds go on. If an agreement will be reached between the two leaders, what will you do then. Sit in a corner and sulk or pick up a gun and retreat to the mountains and rebel against the new republic? What is the point of all this nonsense?

Just because Milti has made a donation to a TC charity, does that make him an enemy of the state. He also has made donations to GC charities.
I too have made a donation and was told that half also went to a charity in the RoC. Does that make me a traitor to my TC brothers? I think not. I have many friends who are GC. am i TOO A TRAITOR BECAUSE OF THIS? Why this hatred? Lets look forward to the future and peace. Stop this pointless squable.

No. I actually mean the Turks. The TCs are now an insignificant minority of Cyprus. They really have no power whatsoever, and can not influence a thing. Pre 74 they formed 18% of the population of the whole island, but today they form only 30% of the "trnc" population and only a mere 7.5% of the total population of Cyprus. The TCs are an endangered species.

Now, what on earth gives you the impression that I do not support our government and it's efforts. You see, the way I say it is that Christofias has so far been doing a good job, but this does not mean that he will solve the problem, because the obstacles that stand in his way are in fact huge. Talat has been contradicting himself so much that he is becoming a laughing stock in the world's eyes. The pendulum of blame will once again swing against Turkey very soon and her EU ambitions will become a very distant dream. I definitely support any effort for a solution as long as such a solution is fair and is a True Federation with a strong central government, single sovereignty, single citizenship, which is a conventional democracy in every sense of the word (1 man, 1 vote) and includes no Treaties of Guarantees or external influences. Anything else will invariably end up in tears and bloodshed down the track. This is my position, since you ask.

And no, I do not consider you a traitor. Do you consider me a traitor? I know that Miltiades does and also questions my Cypriotness, purely for the reason that my views differ to his. I think that he, as a 62 year old man, is the 1 that needs to grow up.

I admit that 1 of my shortfalls may be some nationalistic views which I do possess, but I do not hide behind my finger. I am very upfront and express my views freely. And nationalism can be a by product of ones indoctrination within institutions which thrive on it in order to do certain things.

You know, politics is very fluid, and ever so slowly small geo political changes occur which swing the pendulum in our favor. Changes such as the political crisis in Turkey, the formation of a strong alliance between Cyprus and France, the EU ultimatum for Turkey to withdraw from EU territory. Need I remind you that Greece was enslaved by the Ottomans for 400 years until that blessed day in our Hellenic history where the Greeks revolted and were assisted by the superpowers (England, Russia and France) of the day to gain independence by destroying the Turkish and Egyptian armada in Navarinon. The Turkish Occupation will likewise end, either by peaceful means or by force, if required. The grace period for the EU's ultimatum will 1 day end, and that is when you will see that all bets on Cyprus will be off, and the EU and others will do anything to liberate Cyprus, particularly if Turkey insults the west by turning towards Islam. Like sand through an hour glass, time will eventually run out for Turkey!

Supported the Ottomans for killing all those priests to prevent an uprising ...

Knowing and witnessing the way he sucks up to the powerful and almighty, he would most probably have been the swordsman that beheaded those martyr's.

Sadly, justice is a small detail for Miltiades, and one which he does not allow to get in the way of standing up for and supporting the mighty against the defenceless. His views against the Palestinians for example, is a massive contradiction, especially as he claims to be a True Cypriot IMHO.
