Havent been to Cyprus since 1994, so Im off in 1 month time to Macronissos beach near Ayia Napa.
Looking forward to the break and any information you could give us as to....

What currency to take.
Any thing else relevent, that we might find worth knowing.
Anyway, many thanks in anticipation,

Welcome to the Forum new member ourhenery.

Change the absolute minimum in to Euros outside CY and then look around the shops in the tourist areas for the best rates when you get to CY. Their rates are better than the banks and they don't charge commission.

Absolutely mate.

Got 1.21 here in London yesterday, expect to get 1.23/1.24 in the shops in the CY tourist areas on Sunday when we're over. You'll see boards outside the shops with the rate. If your changing a large amount, ask if they can do you a better rate.
