My favourite ones at the moments are M&S Santinis. Iregularly at a punnet a day. It doesnt help my bank balance, but I love them.

Whenever my parsley comes up, I revert to beef Tomatoes (sometimes I call them Cyprus tomatos) sliced on a plate, with chopped parsley, onions and a dash of olive oil. If that wont keep high cholesterol away nothing else will (naturally, speaking).

Not growing your own Deniz???

I used to Zan. I grew everything. Even my own asparagus. Not since ...............my problem. :(

Well if you have enough room I have propagated some figs back home. at least you can eat those. Keep it in a pot and it will not get too big. all you have to do is pick and eat. (If that does not add to your problem that is????Maybe it does on second thoughts!!

I harvested some figs tonight when I took my granddaughters home. They were what we called Lop Inciri. Weighing over a pound each. I have no more room in my garden. I only have room for my Yeni Dunya - first crop last year after 15 years. Thanks for the offer. Perhaps when I relocate, I will remind you.

Be my pleasure.......Now I ma thinking I should grow some of your figs

Anyway....Goodnight mate.

Now O I am hurt!

Did you not sleep well last night dear? Forget to file your nails?

I did not use your method of 'Google' but thanks for the 'top tip'; I will use it in future! A top chef friend of mine told me about eggs and eggshells; funnily enough he did not mention camels - probably as there was no room for them in the kitchen! (Are we back to the Margot syndrome?)

All this talk of tomatoes - quite fancy some now - never tried them in a fruit salad before - but hey!

Demoted I see - getting closer to your level then?

Some would argue that they do not eat the shell though!

Now, I am no scientist  but I thought that eggshells were classed as 'permeable' and able to absorb gases, fluids etc - therefore you would have to wash the inside too

No you are not a scientist, you're barely sentient! And your growing proficiency at Googling, serves only to highlight your ignorance which like the universe appears to be expanding at a rapid rate.

I'll hazard a guess you Googled eggshells were "permeable and able to absorb gases, fluids etc" ........ but your lack of education and supreme stupidity led you to believe etc stood for ten-ton trucks and bacteria

To use language a semi-imbecile like yourself may understand ....

Bacteria (germs, nasties, cooties :P ) are microscopic (small, tiny, little) but they are a darn sight bigger (by quadzillion times) than gaseous molecules (very very tinsy tiny weeny small things). And behind the eggshell is a very important membrane.

I'll let you figure the rest out for yourself but give you a clue ... it has something to do with the size of the pores, camels passing through eyes of needles, etc.

For all your talk of tomatoes you still failed to heed my warning ... which I shall remind you of again in case it ever seeps through your semi-permeable brain

You can Google the fact that a tomato is a fruit, but kindly acquire the know-how to avoid serving them in a fruit salad

Even with the "smilies" attached - you really are a very rude, ignorant woman. Can't you say what you have to say without all that garbage attached????

Oracle may I ask why you consider it necessary to be so aggresive and very rude to people.

Are your manners as bad when actually meeting people or is it something you reserve for this froum..?

Its not my intention to attack you as such...just wondered why you consider bad manners necessary.

Needed to hear what excuse you would come up with once your fountainous source of knowledge was doubted ... chefs really say "permeable" do they

Don't worry about my nocturnal patterns ... or are you after my "Hamish" again

Do you have anything to add other than your one-sided opinion.? How rude can you get

If you consider Bubbles' behaviour acceptable it shows your singular lack of common sense. I do not want to engage in exchanges with you, neither tess who also just wants to butt in.

I am in fact trying to dislodge Bubbles from these attachments she has for me so that I can continue with "normality" in posting.

It seems there are too many forumers with nothing to do but butt in to stir-up fights and get some notice for themselves.

Argue amongst yourselves ...
