I think the day that the Islam and Kemalist will fight in a civil war in Turkey is getting nearer and nearer. Before the army was the undisputed ruler but now this seems to change so I think we will see a hot fight soon. Maybe the Kurds will jump in it too!

Was the court decision the end game or just the beginning? I can't tell. We'll see in the coming weeks and especially when the new armed forces appointments and retirements are made. The army in Turkey is not like any other place, it has its hand in all sorts of things including shares in business. Hard to see them letting go of their privileges.
