I love poached eggs but have not been able to find a shop that sells egg poachers in Cyprus.

Help!

You know where to go for advise.
As it is not the done thing to speak of the otherside I can offer no further advise

Why do you want a gadget? If you stir the water up into a mini whirlpool you just drop the egg in and it comes out quite neat!!

Can I patent that idea? Call it a whoacher or something like that?

As we are friends, I will admit to having one. It takes four eggs in separate cups over a shallow pan which you fill with water.
Top tip, always add a little butter in the cups before adding the egg, this ensures the egg will slide out and not stick.

By the way - I didn't invent it - I must confess I saw it on a cookery programme years ago!!!!!
