Hi every one,

I travel over to Cyprus now and again, next visit will be at the end of September for 6 weeks, just thought that I would touch base with a Cyprus forum and dip my toes in the water, so to speak, before taking the dive of living in Cyprus early next year.

Hi Bill,

On and off, I been in the Paphos/Polis area for 10 years or so, made some really good friends (Brits and Cypriots), sadly my other travelling get in the way until recently, but I am now having taken the big R, (I'm a 47 babe), time is now on my side.

Not thinking of settling in the wild west that is Paphos District are you ? There a strange lot over there. I prefer Larnaca District and the Free Part of Famagusta District ( I don't do Limmassol either :lol:

Being a 47 babe = 1947, yes I am 60 years old

Correct, My mum was a Scot and she never lost her mother true tongue, she rolled her r's, so Andrew became Drewwwwwwww

Sadly she is no longer with us

Thanks, Cyprus has always a place which I enjoy.

Mostly on holiday and a bit of business, I am looking for a long term rent
for a house in Polis, which I think will be sorted in September.

If any one has a small house in the area for rent please do PM ??
