Please read my previous post about the TRNC flag again.
I repeat, the TRNC may be unrecognized, its flag isn't.
The red crescent and star with a red band above and below them, on a white background IS RECOGNISED as the flag of the UNRECOGNISED TRNC. You seem to be associating the TRNC flag with the Turkish flag because of the icons and colours in its make-up. I maintain that these are very common in countries with a muslim background, not just Turkey. Look at countries as far away as Singapore.
The flag exists even if the state doesn't.
Geddit?
The flag is flying outside the TRNC offices in London and no one can make them take it down....
I've seen this flag fly in London as well outside certain pubs. Doesn't mean its a country though. Just a lot of happy people gathered outside.
Neither is illegal then...That was the point of the discussion.....
You can fly anything you like. The important thing is that the entity the flag represents is an illegal and unrecognised one. Situations were confusion might lead to someone thinking otherwise, then action needs to be taken.
And that is when legality does not matter to you and political pressure comes into being...You do like to have your cake and eat it too DT.... Same old same old!!!!
