Laptop crashing, help needed please!

Postby SSBubbles » Sun Jul 27, 2008 9:24 pm

Ok, calling all computer experts out there; I need your help please!

Can any of you please tell me why my laptop keeps 'crashing'? At first I thought it was the heat, but it happens at any time, of the day (heat or no heat!) without warning and it is very, very frustrating!

What can I do to rectify this problem please?

BTW, don't know if this makes any difference, but I have 'wireless' connection!

Thanks in advance for any help :(

I think the high atmospheric ethanol vapour-saturation may be causing a short-circuiting malfunction.

At other times I may agree with you

Tonight, however, I cannot - water only - and I have spent more time trying to rectify the problem than any other night!

Its not stormy weather thats for sure. It happens all the time here. Aol. tell me to upgrade and or re-instal the software. Put out a call for GR. Then there are other experts reading these lines.

Good luk Bubbles.

whats your latest software installed? did you recently installed / updated any hardware drivers? have you downloaded any apple software for windows lately... safari or itunes for example :) ? Do you have any virtual drivers running in your system? Your bios... done any changes? Scanned your HD integrity?... there are so so many reasons for this to happen...

Can you please specify if it's an Apple laptop (I-book etc) or a PC?

Do you get any error messages on the screen or does it just freeze?

Is it just when you use the internet or when you're doing other things too?

Did you download any new software or go on any websites with loads of pop-up windows?
