How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Mr cannedmoose

Well not really. It always reminded me of the animal being rendered down in a knackers yard. Strange you may think but ever since someone told me that that was how it was made, whenever I saw people using it it made me feel queasy. The fact that I'll happily eat a steak and kidney pudding, knowing that there must be suet in it, doesn't strike me as hypocritical.

Oh THAT empire!!

I thought you had to be a Christian to get thrown to the lions.

Sorry cannedmoose,

With my all respect to your taste choices,

I should say Tesco's steak and kidney pie tastes like a "cannedmouse"

I'm not talking about buying a Tesco's own brand... or god forbid a Tesco Value one... I'm talking about getting one from the bakery... yum...

God bless 24-hr shopping :D

I know he landed in Samsun the 19th of May 1919, but his birthday was ALSO the 19th of May 1881.He was born in Salonica by the way so I hope you appreciate the fact that one of you Greatest men was born in Greece. Anyway are you sure it is not his birthday that you celebrate on 19 May?

I would say one Cyprus with 2 sheep, and many dogs from outside who frighten the sheep.

The more I read your posts the more I believe you are an honourable man.

I do not know if all you say is fact, our version is often contradictory and so it is possible that we may never agree on a number of points BUT Your posts are respectful and you do not put anybody down. I feel surev that some of your compatriots could learn a lot from you. In fact a lot of us could.

Sir,
please don't get wrong ideas. I am usually very harsh, and I put many people down in my discussions when I don't like what they are saying. I just liked the originality of your "aristocratic spirit" which I think is clever and cool.

19th May is the celebration for Ataturk arrived in Samsun which symbloses the start of the war against english, french, greek... in the whole Anotolia.

I actually learnt in the recent 19th may that he was born in 19th May.
