Just kidding, all tongue in cheek. Most Brits I've met and know are good people. However, like from every other country there is a fair amount of trash from the UK. For some reason they seem to be louder and more visible than anybody else though.

perhaps thats the problem? the English do laugh at themselves and take the mickey out of themselves and even comedians from abroad do it and they love it... i dont know if the Cypriots do that or would even like it....maybe one village laughing at another village perhaps?
god help them if they are like Americans - Only they are allowed to joke about themselves..

Jailed lawyer receives presidential pardon

A Paphos lawyer who was sentenced to 30 days in prison for a series of traffic violations has received an official pardon from President Demetris Christofias.

According to the Cyprus Mail, the lawyer is believed to be involved in property contracts and was found guilty of a number of offences, including speeding and driving without a licence and valid insurance last week. [Read more >
