Referendum

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:57 pm

VP, you and your ancestors are the exact same. You haven't changed one bit since the middle ages. Today, just like then, you keep invading Cyprus, killing innocent people, and bringing more and more Turkish settlers to colonize our island.

What the world supports is the one and only state in Cyprus, the Republic of Cyprus. The world condemns your illegal occupation and your illegal "trnc". The world also supports that any other arrangement rejected by Cypriots becomes null and void because nobody has the right to force anything on Cypriots for their own island.

For as long as you insist to Turkify the north part of our country the war you started against us will not end. Don't hope that we will ever sign away any part of our homeland to you.

I havent invaded anything and just has you have taken in Pontians and 90.000 workers from the far east we have Turks deal with it.

The world supports a solution we TCs can also say YES to not just GCs, current developments show that what we demand is also being taken into consideration just as your demands its obvious that neither side will get what they want 100%.

That is EXACTLY what I say Piratis! The problem in Cyprus is the Turkish EXPANSIONISM against Cyprus. They invade, kill Cypriots, steal our lands, bring Turkish Settlers and give them our lands. This is the scenario that keeps repeating. The Turks are the problem of Cyprus. They didn't come here to live with us. They came to STEAL our lands and EXPAND against us.

I havent invaded anything

 You keep invading Cyprus kill the Cypriots steal our lands, bring Turkish settlers and give to them the lands you stole from us. You did this many many times. That is how the "TCs" exist in Cyprus. If you didn't do this then there would be no Turks in Cyprus and Cyprus would be a free and peaceful country with no problems.

Deal with it cause it aint going away until you agree a solution that will take into account the realities of division to which your community contributed.

You keep threatenning us with that but you never offer the right percentage of division, 18%, put that to referendum and see what you get. No GC will ever bother you again.

The % can be fixed by an independent committee who will consider all the claims.

How did we contributed to the EXPANSIONISM of Turks against us? Are you for real?? And we will deal with your expansionism. Lets just wait for these negotiations to fail as always because you want to keep the north of our country for yourselfs and then we can concentrate on the real ways of liberating Cyprus from the Turks!

VP, don't fall for their back-stabbing, two faced nonsense, as we know 'you can never trust a Greek'! Anyway back to the essence of the debate, a referendum:

- Anybody in possession of a Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus passport will be entitled to vote.
- I re-iterate again and from a close source, that were the GC's to again reject a plan to re-unify Cyprus there will be a referendum in the North with the following three options:

1: Exercise the right to self-determination, TRNC/KKTC.
2: Join the Republic of Turkey.
3: Join the RoC as per the London-Zurich Accords.

I also have it on very good authority that our delegation will be insisting on a reference from the UN on the right of the Turkish Cypriot people to decide their own fate in the event of a GC or T/C rejection of a referendum. This is also applicable to any breakdown of the up-coming inter-communal talks, a la Kosovo. Very interesting to note that Downer has stated words to the effect of not wanting the negotiations to drag on for ever. Only the blind refuse see that we're heading towards an end game with only two possible outcomes, re-unification or recognition of the TRNC.

Remove your life jacket and everything will be allright.
