if you sell drugs you are a killer, probably a mass murderer. in the uk i have seen what that shit does to people, including death. not usually a very nice one at that. i think the death penalty should stand. lots of the crimes in iran are commited by people coming in from afganistan. rape and murder usually. the iranian people want them dealt with.

that's a little tough, don't you think? they aren't FORCING the drug onto anybody. they are providing a service. in that case, kill all the liquor store shop owners and manufactureres.... a hell of alot of people die from drunk driving or psorosis of the liver.

I have to agree with others who condemn the death penalty. Leaving aside the usual arguments against it, some of which are covered above, to my mind it's one way in which The State tries to demonstrate its power over the citizenry, or at least the more marginalised members of society eg. black American males in the States, the more vulnerable members as in the case of women in some less enlightened countries, the outspoken in those places where The State doesn't tolerate criticism etc etc

On the matter of drugs - have to agree with GG and would I think go further in saying that what consenting adults do with their lives is not a matter for the state. If adults want to buy and sell drugs, hard as well as soft, it's up to them. I don't think we need "states" and "nanny governments" to protect us from our choices in life that effect only ourselves.

Good point both, but I do draw the line at some little twat standing outside of school gates trying to make a few quid out of a child.
It's a shit world out there people, get with it.
I however do prefer a talk with Mr Knuckle rather than the death penalty.
