How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

A weak central gvt will be disastrous. The TC's need to understand that their interests lie with having a strong central gvt in which they fully take part in. Having a weak central gvt and most power delegated to the two regions will mean that Turkey will basically be running the north as it does do now. Without a strong central gvt, the problems of immigration will still continue largelly unchecked.

I believe Christofias wants a strong central gvt. I hope that he can convince Talat in the negotiations that this is much better for all Cypriots. In any case - the key statement being made is that an AGREED solution will be put to referendum. This will take some time to achieve.
