Absolutely, but not so much 'glow in the dark' as be illuminated by enough lights to keep everyone thinking it was permanent daytime. Oh and he'd have the loudest stereo system in the world built into him and play fantastic tunes to entertain all the visitors and anyone within a thousand mile radius! Don't even get me started on the merchandising!
Not only would he be a magnificent symbol of Cypriot-ness, he'd help out the tourist industry too. I'm talking a modern wonder of the world here.
