I was in financial sectors (stocks shares and all that jazz) but also trained as a post traumatic stress counsellor helping bank staff involved in armed robberies and such like, which was much more interesting and in my opinion a hundred times more worthwhile.
Tess
And then what happened
..... you fell in love with one of the Bank Robbers and ran away together to the "trnc"
I was personally involved in two armed robberies (the innocent end, I hasten to add)!!! But no, no love involved, just a sawn off shotgun and a hand gun!!!
You are safe now tess. No guns in the north to threaten you. I often wonder how I would react under similar circumstances (bank robbery)
We are programmed to react as "fight or flight" but you can do neither with a gun aimed at you, it was scary, but I wasn't as badly affected as some of my co-workers (hence my venture into PTS counselling). I have counselled people that have been very badly treated and physically hurt. But don't worry - I feel very safe here!!!
I had that pleasant experience in London. Mad looking guy asks for money and then pulls out a gun while laughing hysterically!
He then ran away with more hysterical laughter.
I've been here a year now and have discovered that companies in Cyprus are rubbish at marketing and how to present themselves so I now help them to do this. Cyprus does now have to compete with European countries and will fall behind if they don't realise this. The koumbaros network is reaching an end.
