most unusual food you've eaten?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

I was once involved in a plane crash in the Himalayas. Six of us survived but were trapped in the freezing cold for two weeks waiting for help. After three days I couldn't take the hunger anymore and ate Captain McReedy. He was a bit tough but not too bad.

I also once ate a Pot Noodle. About halfway through I started to wish I still had a bit of Captain McReedy left

Kangaroo how could you not like yorkshire pudding it was first made in Lancashire. But we decided to credit Yorkshire with the dish as their only claim to culinary delights was Tripe and lashings of Vinegar Yuk!

:( Purdey mou, you must have had a 'bad' Yorkie then as they are delicious!
I believe they are served as a main meal in Yorkshire - with the meat, gravy and vegetables on top of one huge pudding! :)

They are not easy to make (or is it just me?) so back home I used to buy the frozen packs of 'Aunt Bessie's'

Aunt Bessies? Now that IS disgusting.
