I am not suggesting it. I am sure of it. Two hundred EOKA boys held 35 000 British at bay for four years. Thousands of well armed Cypriots with a large popular support base would have made monkeys of the coupists in a few weeks. I have first hand knowledge of preparations made to fight back. And it was not anything tame like blwoing up a car or cutting electricity cables either. There are TCs who know too, find them and ask them. They were involved too.
