Is there a distinct Turkish Cypriot culture?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The only noun in Turkish which does not conform to Buffer Letter rules is:
Su - water. Whether as a Describing (Completeing) Noun or as a Described (Completed) Noun will take the Buffer letter -y- instead of the normal -s-. This may be for avoidiing the ugly - "susu".

.... It's official

They are like "cultural" sponges absorbing customs from those around them, those whom they have invaded and enslaved. Whilst at the same time attempting to erase the source of their newly acquired customs.

I did a thread once to find out what can be uniquely attributed to TCs or even Turks ... and we got a big fat zilch.

There is no distinct TC culture .... do not get too above yourselves .

The TCs acquired what they wanted from the GCs, but managed to remain removed, detached, by virtue of their ugly language. :D

Oracle dear, you need to get around a bit more. Just loo around and you see the difference which is as obvious as daylight. We look more like GCs than the Mainland Turks with only a tiny smattering of TCs nearly coming close in looks to a Turk/Kurd. But you know that already, dont you?

Talsker, your scale needs more definitions on the x-axis. You need a scientist to re-draw your graph. Ask the Oracle.

Dear O, the reason you get Zilch from the TCs, perhaps they are plainly fed up of your games.

Turkish Cypriot culture is simply a mix of Greek Cypriot culture and Turkish culture.

Its your idea, you can develope it, but we have no aboriginals in Cyprus. We once had GR who was the closest, but he is ducking and diving somewhere.

C'mon Deniz, you're being deliberately obtuse now. The next thing you'll be telling me is there are no Eskimos in Cyprus either..........
