history of the airport and its evolution

Interesting to see at the end of the clip the what the new airport will be like next year.

Thanks DT. But they didn't show much of the new airports. For sure they will be much better from what we have now because what we have now was just emergency solution after the invasion.

I flew into Larnaca corrugated airport in August 1975 on a CY viscount. I hadn't been on a turbo-prop for 15 years!

Nicosia was the best airport in the region in 1974.

Windows media played this straight through but a little out of focus at times.
I wish I was flying into Cyprus right now instead of being in England.

No actually it's just a different terminal. The airport it's the same (location, runway).
