Hi Kurupetos, can I tweak your ear?
Talking testerday of your names etc. As a child we knew a Karabet (possibly Karabedian) an Armenian, who used to live in a shack on the river next to the Nicosia prison. We thought he was a Gypsy, only beause of his lifestyle. His wife and three daughters were our neighbors. One daughter, Annik fell in love with a GC, and then commited suicide. The other daughters and mother then moved to London. Not related are you?
No. Ask kafenes or AC. They might know him.
I just like the word kurupetos. Nobody calls me that way personally. There was a GC TV show some years ago where a guy was calling people "kurupetos". Hilarious!
btw I knew a Karabet that liked pasturma... But that's a different story in a different place...
