FYI: Kypraia, there is installer now for the new firmware and i have just upgraded to 2.0.1 which works very nicely, i am just restoring my files from itunes works like a charm unlocked and jailbroken with cydia and installer, it looks pretty good actually the new software.

really?...so theres installer for 2.0.1? beta or the actual one?

well its a beta but with the new winpwn comes cydia and installer and dev team the guys who make winpwn also made installer, it looks pretty good ive installed some apps but i also lost some because not all apps work with 2.0.1 yet but i give it time and everything will be ready winterboard ssh and a few other programs. i downloaded a few apps from app store i used to have labyrinth the full version but i lost it now so i had to download the light.

the iPhone 3G will be available in greece on the 22 August (11 days from now ), and will cost 499 8GB and 569 16GB ..euros.. that's about 745 and 850 dollars, but fully unlocked.. it's main carrier will be vodafone but it will be usable with all other carriers(not only greek). u can also get it on contract...

but for Cyprus...i don't know much about...like iv said before, an insider at a store has told me it will be available in august/september for around 600 euros (8GB i think)... would be good if we can order from greece and get it shipped... anyone know if this is possible??

Seriously folks, the iPhone is not worth the money. Nokia N95 has excellent video, brilliant camera, alot of space built in, and room for expansion, built in GPS, supports a massive variety of applications, is smaller than the iphone but the screen is still big enough to go onto facebook or this forum.

hmm, well this is a forum for the iphone, not for advertisments.
no affence or anything..
im abit of an apple fan, so im more interested in the iphone than any other phone which has the same features. (eg. Nokia)

a crappy sony ericson, going to get the N95.

the thing is, the iphone doesnt have a few things, and apple are making people pay for them like the video and flash and stuff, when the N95 and many other phones give you them as standard, and for a much better price.
