some nice apps you have.

i payed for iphone video recorder because with the iphone you cannot take videos and voice recorder other then that i have mirc, i would also advise Isim! because when you buy a iphone and insert the sim card you cannot retrieve the contacts you have saved on the sim, so with this app it retrieves the numbers from your sim card and you can save it to the phone,

also filebrowser was a good one and greek project i payed for also. you will also like summerboard you should get that to thats a popular one.

I just installed flashlight lol its the same as the rainbow app i installed it basically has a bright white screen and as you move your finger across the screen it gets darker and lighter as you move your finger..

If you decide to jailbreak and have installer you can add many sources and have the files filled with loads of apps ( some not free )

You will be able to use any app you like in cyprus, i had one where i could download mp3s straight to the iphone i forgot what it was called though. But i can give you a long list of good sources with all the apps you could want.

sounds like you have some good apps.
im not sure whether i want 2 jailbeak mine as soon as i get it...i think i might just leave it for abit. or wait still installer 4.0 is released!!

btw, Isim sounds great, i was wondering how you do that. is it only available if you Jailbreak it?

Well that is what i am doing also i have version 1.1.4 on my iphone i am waiting for winpwn 2.5 so that it will have installer 4.0 and i can jailbreak and unlock and have version 2.0.1 on my phone, there is a installer 4.0 beta leaked but there is no point in having it because the sourcers are not ready and some of the applications i have that work for 1.1.4 do not work for 2.X firmware yet so i am waiting, it shouldent be long i imagine within the next few weeks it will all be ready. everyone rushed and installed 2.0 and it has lots of bugs which 2.0.1 fixes plus some people dont care about the apps so they installed it.

I have a 1st generation of the iphone so hopefully you wont need Isim with the new 3G maybe they have fixed this, but apple 2.X firmware is very limited to what apps you can have at the moment, plus if it is not jailbroken you have to have the apps that apple aprove ( from app store ) so at the moment yes you have to have jailbroken because you download through installer. But Imo it makes the phone better when you jailbreak it.

the iphone sounds like more hassle than its worth really. Look into the Nokia N95. Its smaller, the camera has flash, excellent video quality, maps system, gps, 3g internet and so on. It's basically a smaller Iphone, with working bluetooth.

i agree tayl0r the iphone is missing things it should have but also 16GB no other mobile phone has that much space the touch screen wireless connection so i dont pay for internet as long as there is a wireless connection easier internet browsing, access to apps games which makes the phone better then the n95 taking away blue tooth is ok i never really use that, it sucked about the camera only having 2mp camera and no flash though...

but alll phones start like this they are only available to monthly pay customers, they will stop locking phones just like any other provider does in countries they lock phones

even though i hate that it does not have bluetooth ( actually it doe, but you can only use it to connect to head sets not send recieve files. ) and hate that there is no camera or flash and only 2MP camera..

i still have 16GB of space on my phone with no memory card, tell me what other phone has so much space? none even come close which means i can fill my iphone with apps easily visit web sites on the free wireless connection and fill it with games and loads more i wouldent trade it for a LG or nokia or anything else.

FYI: Kypraia, there is installer now for the new firmware and i have just upgraded to 2.0.1 which works very nicely, i am just restoring my files from itunes works like a charm unlocked and jailbroken with cydia and installer, it looks pretty good actually the new software.
