Dangaman the image I posted is of Google Earth for the iphone. It's not available for the Omnia.

I've just had a look on the internet though. Your phone should have Google maps on it which is similar. Try using that and tweaking the settings...put the view to "satellite" if you have that option and you're good to go. :)

Thanks TC

I've found yet another innovative application for the iphone!

A virtual lute player! 8)

Contrary to what people may think, it actually works REALLY well! Check it out....

I bought a white 16Gb 3G iphone in London, last week, and am using it in Cyprus, with a turbosim - no problem. It cost me £450 (about the same in €) great compared to the €800 being charged in Cyprus.

Go Svetlana! 8)

I've updated to the 2.2 firmware. It's ok, I like streetview but I was expecting something much better to be honest.

I've jailbroken mine too. :D

What is Jailbreaking? My understanding is that I cannot update software versions because of the turbosim.

I have copied a video from itunes to my PC, but have not yet managed to transfer it from PC to the iphone - I am not very technical. Also setting it up to access the web will be a trauma for me!

I am a bit of a phone freak - as I cannot afford fast cars anymore!!
I have HTC PDA and a (UK £6400!) Vertu Signature, which I have just sent back for refurbishment.

I like the iphone for its stunning graphics; I dislike it for its difficult 'keyboard'.

Jailbreaking is when you hack the phone. I'm guessing yours is unlocked and jailbroken since you can't update software versions.

You made the right choice with the iPhone Svetlana. It's all quite easy when you know how to use iTunes. Theres guides and videos all over the internet if you ever need help.

I love my iPhone! :D

BTW - The keyboard is quite good, it just takes time to get used to. It's usually very good at guessing which key you want to press, but let me guess..you have nails?
