I don't do mobiles or fashion items. I bought one for my 13 year old daughter on the recommendation from the Manchester Apple shop.

Never judge 13 year old girls mate, she does not use the call facility and rarely uses the text facility.
Maybe you can tell me what the iphone camera is about, was it not voted as the shittiest phone camera on the market.

probably i mean its a2mp camera it has no flash so come night you cant take pictures.. you cant take videos with the camera either unless you jailbreak which apple considers to be illigal jailbreaking it...

i dont judge at all im just saying the younger ones want the "cool" phones to show off to their friends.

The iphone is hardly a mobile for children. A child could never realise the true potential of the iphone. You really have to use it for yourself to understand. Everything about the design of the phone and it's software is top notch. The camera is shit but who cares? Nokia have great cameras but their music players are garbage. I'd much rather have the good music player than the camera. Plus the iphone has A LOT more potential than any other phone thats come out...

Plus the interface on the iphone comes second to none. It runs smooth like silk, everything is precise and spot on.

And notice how every single smartphone that's come out since has been compared to the iphone, including the HTC Diamond, the N96, Xperia...and so on....thats because it's a benchmark of a phone. 8)

Same with the ipod compared with the other mp3 players really.

Shame about carphonewarehouse though, they STILL haven't activated my phone. I went back to the store today and told them it's not going to work!!! Told them that o2 themselves had told me there was nothing indicating my account had been set up and that there was an error in the way it was processed, but they were so sure it would be on in a couple more hours...

I'm DYING to try the 3g out since I have unlimited data on my tariff, meaning I can go on the internet anywhere and everywhere without worrying about costs.

Whoooooooaaaa!

I've just discovered the Shazam application! Have never seen anything like it.

If theres a song playing on the tv or radio for instance, and you want to find out the name, who sings it etc...you just open the app and put the iphone near the speakers and within seconds it gives you the artist, track and album information!

I've just put it through some vigorous testing and it hasn't failed not once, even giving me the album/track info of Turkish songs...

some very good apps from app store, i also have VLC player and nes and snes emulator with a video and voice recorder program from Cydia there is so much the iphone can do, like taking screen shots i love that feature, take one lets see ur springboard.

plus 2.2 firmware is going to be released on the 14th :D i hope they make major changes and add something really good like the jump from 1.1.4 to 2.0 with App store and the jump from i think 1.0.2 to 1.1.3 you where able to move around the icons, what i also like about it is how itunes backs everything up ur settings to how they where so if u decide to upgrade then you can put the settings contacts txt messages how they where before no harm done
