OK, I searched the net and found a way to create an itunes account in another country. I haven't installed anything, since I haven't received my iphone yet. But, so far I can select applications and download them on my pc.

The procedure is quite easy: you just select one of the countries itunes store is already available, fill your imaginary details, and when prompted to write valid information(eg. correct UK post code format) there will always be a pattern example you can use.

Well it seems greece is out of stock right now!!!

The person I gave the money to buy me the iphone has just called me to tell me vodafone has no stock.

So, I would appreciate more information from kostas13 regarding iphone.

not sure if there is a program to do that without jailbreaking but i know once you jailbreak you can use winterboard, you should google it maybe there is a way without i you dont like the idea of jailbreaking

I dont like the idea of jailbreaking because i want an iphone that its legall. If somethings wrong i wont have the warranty. Besides appstore is becoming much and much better.I dont say it has better apps than installer but im pretty sure there gonna be som...did u jailbrek ur iphone?

installer pretty much has nothing in it apart from the region patch which at the moment you will need in cyprus unless you enjoy saving numbers twice once with +357 and once without for each contact... i got my phone from england the app store works just fine i download games and apps and i use cydia and installer games and apps including the much needed region patch... of course i jailbreak my phone!!! i love my jailbroken phone i made my own theme i download apps like vlc player and yes most of my apps are from app store but region patch from installer which i badly need , i can ssh into my phone and change all my ringtones on my phone to ones i want and i can edit files so i can download the pay for app store games free

sure it voids the woranty but i know what i am doing there is no way i break it espesially with the progam i use to do it, its very safe but once you do jailbreak if you need help you have to pretend to apple you did not jailbreak it or ask in other places for help. even if you just unlock it then that still voids the worranty so the fact that you will have it from greece means either its unlocked from apple like kypraia has or you will use some sim solution to have ti unlocked...

If you dont care about those things then there is no point jailbreaking.

I have a problem with texting ,when i text it opens a box in the messages ,when the person i send my message replise to me a new box appears in the messages and there is no name even thow i send my message from the contacts.only the phone appears .so i send a message to my friend and he/she replice to me ,but there isn't a conversation going on ,a new box oppens without any name just a number
is this because of the region patch ,which i haven't got?


pls help
